Element was created as a space for women to enter deeper relationship with the land, the elements, and the parts of themselves ready to come forward. Across ceremony, movement, shared meals, rest, laughter, ritual, and the wild beauty of the Italian landscape, we created a visual story of remembrance, connection, and the living field formed when women gather with intention.

The visual direction for Element began with the retreat itself as a living body. Fire, water, earth, air, light, architecture, food, ritual objects, and the movement of the women through the land each became part of the story. I listened for the rhythm of the gathering and photographed the moments where the individual and collective experience met: the quiet before ceremony, hands preparing the space, bodies softening into movement, shared laughter, reflection, and the ways the landscape held each passage. The intention was to create more than a record of what happened. The images preserve the atmosphere of the retreat and the field of connection, beauty, and remembrance that continued moving through it.
