Across volcanic land, sacred ponds, ocean light, naturally dyed silk, and the quiet rhythms of island life, we created a visual story that allowed her products to exist within the wider field of medicine they come from.

KIRSTEN’S APOTHECARY on THE BIG ISLAND
The creative direction for this session began with our relationship to the island itself. We spent time walking the land, listening for the locations that felt alive, and allowing the elements to guide the rhythm of the story. Kirsten’s products moved with us through sacred ponds, volcanic terrain, open sky, and the softer rituals of daily life. Naturally dyed silk, cacao, plants, food, texture, water, and light became part of the visual language. The session held both the beauty of the apothecary and the deeper world surrounding it: the hands that make, the land that nourishes, the friendships that sustain, and the reverence woven through every offering.
