JULIE MAGNUSSEN PHOTOGRAPHY
Tessa came to this session in a season of healing, return, and reemergence. On the fifty-acre farm she had recently made her own, we created a visual story shaped by childhood wonder, creativity, play, and her deepening relationship with the land. Across fields, water, roses, movement, and golden light, the images became a record of coming home to herself.
LAND-ROOTED PORTRAIT STORY
This session began with an energetic reading that revealed themes of joy, ease, protection, creative awakening, and the return of Tessa’s childhood spirit. From there, we built a visual world around the land itself, including the lake, river, open fields, and the quiet rhythms of the farm. Butterfly wings, roses, watercolor, swan energy, crystals, movement, and the canoe each carried a different part of the story. Wardrobe, light, ritual, and location were chosen to reflect both the tenderness of what she had lived through and the aliveness beginning to rise again. By the time we entered the landscape, every element had become part of a larger language of safety, freedom, imagination, and return.
“THIS was TRULY a MAGICAL EXPERIENCE.”
